I’ve worked in education for over 25 years, teaching English to 11 to 18-year-olds in state and independent schools. For 12 years, I led market-leading English and literacy training, attended by over 10,000 teachers, and Oxford University Press published my resources. I’m an examiner for AQA and Edexcel. I was Head of English in one of the UK’s leading schools, and I’m particularly proud of improving the GCSE results across many schools by as much as 30%+ (e.g. improving the pass grades from 69% to 92%).
